Some photos on a Monday.

My brain is in no shape to write a sense-making entry right now. We got back from New York last night around midnight after traveling for 10 hours in cars, planes, trams, and one bus. This thought flitted across my mind as I drove past my coffee place on the way home from the airport: “See you in six hours.” And that is never a thought one should have.

In lieu of a real entry, here are a few more photos from my Louisville trip that I like:

(I would love this photo even more if someone hadn’t chucked what looked like a chocolate ice cream cone at the center of the mirror.)

I haven’t given a single thought to knitting in the last week, except that I wish I had some time to do it. Soon, soon. There are no plans on the horizon, except a Derby party next weekend, and for once I’m enjoying my life, just being home and even working. There’s definitely a happiness to be found in the familiar sometimes.
